GPI History Continued...
Granite Petroleum began by primarily building fuel facilities and convenience stores. From those early days, Granite Petroleum has expanded into different fields such as data center power systems, alternative fuel facilities, design build services, office buildings, site improvement projects, water/sewer utility projects and USFS site reconstruction projects.
Granite Petroleum has assembled a diverse group of estimators, project managers and field managers. The collective skill and experience of our management team allows for effective and applicable managing of all types of projects.
Our company’s versatility has allowed us to serve clients from private business owners to corporate entities and governmental agencies. Granite Petroleum’s attention to each client has allowed us repeated work with Ady Enterprises, Safeway Stores Inc., Colville Confederated Tribes, Burton Construction, Clean Energy Fuels, the USFS, the Veterans Administration, Fred Meyer Stores, Spokane Tribe of Indians, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Through serving a diverse range of clients, Granite Petroleum has developed vast experience in adapting to unique job sites located in a large geographic area. We have successfully delivered projects from Ketchikan to Anchorage in Alaska and worked in remote areas of Nevada and Idaho. We have traveled as far east as Sioux Falls, SD and as far south as San Diego, CA and we regularly work in Washington, Oregon and Montana. Our understanding of logistics, limited resources, performing in remote areas and working with unique support constraints allows us to deliver projects wherever they exist.
Our adherence to Safety while meeting project goals resulted in Granite Petroleum’s recent selection as the sole recipient of the Joint Base Elmendorf/Richardson Safety Award for the 2012 construction season. This award was earned during the most severe winter in Anchorage’s history. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
Granite Petroleum has developed into a versatile company with a diverse and uniquely experienced staff. Our passion for the unique, remote and challenging projects has fostered an environment of ingenuity, while promoting the customers goals. We believe no two projects are alike; yet, we approach every project with the same simple, proven fundamentals rooted in planning, preparation and execution.
